I am not sure. I talked to a friend of mine tonight that is an original owner of a '68 Charger RT. He still has one of the red stripe tires as a spare. It is a Good Year F70/14. What should a '69 have? Anyone know?

Goodyear F70/14s were one of the tires available for the 69s.

I have a 383 69 roadrunner and I used to buy F14/78s for it. Do not know if that is right; a long time ago to remember

A moparts member posted the following. Seems to know what he's talking about ->

1969 383 Road Runner:
F70-14 "SPEEDWAY" red STANDARD - T83 on b'cast or window sticker
F70-14 "SPEEDWAY" white OPTIONAL - T82 on b'cast or window sticker - no charge
F70-14 "POLYGLAS" red OPTIONAL - T85 on b'cast or window sticker - $26.45

F70-14 Polyglas RED was an OPTION from the start of the model year (non-HEMI, non-A12).
F70-15 Polyglas RED was included (STANDARD) with HEMI E74 for '69 model year. ("SPEEDWAY" F70-15 red for '68 model year)
G70-15 Polyglas RED was included (STANDARD) with the spring '69 A12 cars.
F70-14 Polyglas w/RWL was included (STANDARD) with "spring special" A14/A15 Road Runners.

I have an original F70-15 out of the trunk but it has some wear like he rotated tires. Pretty good shape but the red line is dirty
