440 six barrel clone. Matching #'s 383 came with it. Bench seat, column shift A/T. N96 was the only option on the fender tag.
Bought from original owner in June 1978(64K miles) sat in his garage for a number of years with a bad clutch, original bought new in Struthers Ohio from Men-Guer C-P when he was 18. Original paint and drivetrain, had air shocks and white house paint undercoating(both fads of the era) and Cragars. It has evolved over the years with the original 383 4 speed setting safely in cellar, it has had a 383 2x4bbl, 426 Hemi(setting next to 62 Straight Axle Dart), 440 six pack & Hood(1985ish), 440 Tunnel Ram, and the current HRE 67 440, Paint remains 85% original and interior original still.
