Nice Road Runner. My favorite color (F8). I originally purchased a new Road Runner in 1969... an ivy green post car with a 383 and 4-speed. Sold it when the gas crisis hit California in 1971. After building several street rods along the way, I've always thought about the Road Runner. Sold my 33 Tudor in 2015 and purchased a 69 Road Runner from a guy in Kansas. All I really cared about was getting a post car with plans to go through everything. The car arrived here looking pretty good in all (B5) blue with a 727, but at least it was a post car. Just now coming down the home stretch in what will end up being a 4 1/2 year process... everything that can be done has been done! Peeled away the blue, to orange, back to blue and finally hitting ivy green... was both a shock and pleasant surprise. Every inch of the car has been taken down to bear metal with a lot of body work being performed including replacing the passenger side front fender. Won't go into too much detail hear... way too much has been done. It is currently in the interior phase then home for small weekend projects (because they are never actually done)... but will be for all practical purposes done, and will look fantastic. The entire interior (less the headliner and sun visors) is all black Italian leather over the original bucket seats and original backseat. My goal has been from day-one to maintain the integrity and look of the car and not do anything stupid to it... turns out that is a lot harder than just going all out modern. I love the look of the 69 Road Runner and especially love the look of an ivy green Road Runner. A little later this year I will post photos of the completed project... to do it justice, I will also attempt to do a writeup on the build process. Looking at photos of your car, you have a really nice Road Runner!!! Very rare to see an ivy green post car with a 440 6-barral
