It really did make a mess. We use to take a piece of pipe and some metal and make a guard that went from lower frame rail to rail. They do sell them now premade.
what happened to affordable. I is costing a fortune to restore this old car from grave to new. And it is taking a six pack per peace to install.The cross connection exhaust pipe must of been added later on also with front discs. Looking at threads backwards, left handed. Its correct. Not sure why some have that weight on them.i would get rid of that driveshaft....you dont need the big ring weight on there....is it me or is that driveshaft on backwards?
