I'm not too anal about "correct" Back in the day of the car guys made lots of modifications to their taste. This car is not a museum piece. I want to drive it and have a bit of fun

That's all that counts. FWIW, I do prefer my cars to be factory correct, but I also know that a lot of guys aren't concerned about that and I respect that it's your car to do with as you please. I do appreciate cars that have modifications that are well done, and yours is one of them. :thumbsup:

hey CWR, which ignition box do you find works best for you. i had an orange box on mine and couldn't get the car to start with it. i now have the MSD6AL. sweeeet ride though. :cheers:

It's an MSD 6A. Starts pretty well usually

Okay, so I'm more of a day two guy also... I was just telling John (mcmopar) yesterday that I wasn't sure I could ever faithfully restore my FE5 '70 Duster 340 to as delivered condition because I've always had go-fast goodies on it. It's an exceedingly rare car because it was built in Windsor and Ma MoPar says she didn't build any there - just another one of those Chrysler oddballs - but that really just doesn't captivate me...

i had the chrome box from mopar performance on the car but i like my msd 6 al better also. :drive:
