A bit about my self, my is Michael I am 43 and When it comes to cars Mopar has always been what I wanted but haven’t been able to get.
I was brought home from the hospital in a baby blue 68 charger but all I have is stories of that car. Unfortunately, when I was a child my Mom and are were hit and the car was totaled.
At 16 my Dad and I went to buy me a 70 challenger and on the test drive the carb was leaking and we were 500 miles from home so at the time decided not to buy it. Twenty some years later my Dad and I were talking about that day and we miss understood each other and he thought I didn’t want the car, which was the farthest from the truth. So he didn’t buy it. In truth I was super disappointed it was leaking because I feared he wouldn’t buy it for me. Oops!!! I guess my teenage self should have been better at expressing myself.
Years and many chevys later
My 1970 duster purchase was a disaster it broke down on me on the short drive home and didn’t get much better. Lost cash sold the car and haven’t been back to old mopar since.
Now I own a Jeep (owned quite a few of these). My wife drives a 300 and I recently sold my Ram truck. Even though fiat owns Dodge, it’s as mopar as I can get. Now I’m looking for my muscle car which is a B body Chrysler I just haven’t found it yet. Anyone want to help? Unfortunately my father past away a few years ago and knew b bodies. I want a nice driver preferably 440 4speed RR. Number matching isn’t necessary but wouldn’t hurt but more importantly would be rust free. I would love any advise it will be greatly appreciated. I have three young grandsons that I want to share the muscle car experience with. Hurray!!
