Hi, and thanks for letting me join.
I don't currently own a Road Runner but, I'm working on my 1969 Dodge Charger R/T, and since there's quite a bit of crossover in car parts between the Charger and Road Runner, I thought it would be worth my time to expand my membership to other forums. A good example of this crossover is when I found that the steering wheel and horn parts (half ring, center pad, horn switch and retainer) I'm looking for are the same across multiple platforms, especially between the Road Runner and Charger.
So, I hope you don't mind my joining your group and using it to gain knowledge about Mopar cars and their assembly and to shop for parts while working on my current project, before moving on to my next, which may be a Road Runner.

Here's some pictures of my current project.

Nice Charger. I happen to have a couple of 70 Chargers and a 70 Roached Runner myself.

If you decide that you want to sell your Charger to fund towards a Road Runner, please let me know.

Welcome! `68-`70 Chargers are great looking cars and you are correct that a lot of mechanical and some interior parts interchange with other B-bodies.

Also entertained buying a 69 charger. But don't think I have it in me to restore another car. Had a charger brand new in 73 and enjoyed it. But it is all I can do to keep my runner going at this time. Trying to find parts to restore it was a challenge. Searching the web for hours and finding hard to find parts. Reproduced parts are not like original. The chrome parts are not up to snuff. But it is what it is. Good luck on your project. :thumbsup2:
