Hello, New guy here from Illinois near the STL area. I have loved and been a Mopar nut since I was a kid. My Dad drove Mopar's and had a lot of nice ones over the years. As a child I would hear him coming home when he rounded the corner at the end of the street and accelerated down the road to our house. It was a 69 "grey" hardtop, with 383 4 speed, 3.23 SG, dealer installed magnum 500's, and a black deluxe interior, with a chrome tach mounted to the steering column. Unfortunately he sold it in about 1975 and regretted that I think almost immediately.
I have two Mopar's myself, a 70 Road Runner and 68 Coronet R/T. Originally when I turned 16 we looked and looked but couldn't find any 69 Road Runners in my local area. We looked at a lot of cars but most were satellites or belvedere's etc. I finally found a real 4 speed RR and bought it. It's the 70 I still have 30+ years later. It's a little worse for wear now but I'm planning on getting to work on it this spring / summer hopefully and get it sorted out. I've been getting my plan together with the help of the guys over at FBBO, which led me to your site. Will (Propwash over there) pointed this site out today.
Looking forward to hanging out with you guys,
Bryan
