Hard to say really. I can tell you what the book says if you total the vehicle or it gets stolen. But typically that has nothing to do with the sale price, or what one has into it when doing a restoration. The latter being my case, if I lose mine, I'll take a beating and a big one. Plus you have some sentimental attachment to this car, which the seller knows. I do agree with Russ, I'd like to hear it run. Assume you've looked underneath, in the trunk, and in-between. Whatever you buy it for I can almost guarantee you what you put into it, depending on what you want it to look like and how you want it to run, will be close to the price you paid for the car as it sits. This will also depend on what skill sets you possess if you intend on doing the work yourself.
