My super shaker project for my Challenger

Needed to come up with something to clear the tunnel ram on dual dominator's. Decided to go with a modified super shaker. I stretched the hood opening 3" longer, the base and bubble 3" also, the bubble 4-1/2" taller and opened up the nostrils 2-1/2" taller.

Mounted everything up tonight. Hood still needs some final adjusting but came out great. Several months worth of work off and on.

Thanks. Scoop comes of base, then base comes off engine mounts all in like 10 seconds for between round servicing and cruise nights if needed.

I have been assured, twice, by a 3rd party who had nothing to gain that the Weiand P3690982 6bbl "low profile" tunnel ram intake manifold will fit under my 70 Roadrunner N96 hood AND work with the airbox, but the airbox has to be trimmed. A friend he used to go to the track with had that very setup, and I asked emphatically and he assured me twice.
I've already had Promax mod all 3 Holley carbs for tuning flexibility and performance now, and in the future for a 540 cu in aluminum block stroker I have planned.
I also bought a 69½ A12 fresh air setup in case those parts may combine to make a better fresh air solution. I also have an aluminum intake gasket like I've always used, so now I have to make the time to check it all out.
The Innovate Motorsports dual wideband O2 system will be a good tuning and diagnostic tool, and so far it has provided some eye opening data. If I would have known how helpful it is I would have installed the wideband in my first month of ownership.

I find that hard to believe that your Weiend six pack tunnel ram will fit under your stock hood. Those are tall. My other car has stock six pack set up with factory air cleaner and the lid rubs the insulation on the bottom side of my hood (factory Cali car) with so called 70 Cali emissions and sound deadening..
