Another one, gone over to the Dark Side...

She spotted this when we picked up the BOSS 302...so we finally went back and got it...

2012 Shelby GT500. Supercharged 5.4 Liter, six-speed, all the bells and whistles. She spends all her time out in the garage w/ the car now... :basketcase:

X2

I think that the Mustang is the only one out of the three Challenger and Camaro that really have the retro look to them.

congrats to her.....now she can blow your doors off :drive:

As Lee Corso would say, "Not so fast, my friend..." Several reviews have shown the BOSS to be quicker in the quarter mile. On a road course there is no chance for the Shelby. The BOSS is just too capable of a track car right out of the box whereas the Shelby is intended to be a very high performance Grand Touring car...as is evidenced by its interior appointments and the relative lack thereof in the BOSS.

The BOSS also has the launch control off of the race-only Cobra Jets. Put the Trackey in and your cruise control buttons suddenly become the controls for your "delay box" of sorts.

Keep in mind that I have had limited seat time in the Shelby at this point, and NONE without its watchful owner around  , but if you were to avoid overpowering the tires in the Shelby I think it would get the nod.

Very nice.......I didn't win megamillions my ass :toetap: :toetap: :D
I think that now that we are in the days of class envy and warfare its only right if we all share in these new toys. I'm willing to bet Rays secretary has a larger car payment than he does,(Buffett law in case I lost you on that one), its only right if we all have an equal chance on the test track. :jester:

"Moneybags Ray" now seems more appropriate than "Bossman"!

All kidding aside, those are a couple of nice looking rides!
I'm sure you and your lady will have plenty of fun - Enjoy!

I got my money on Tammy even though Ray has the trackey thingy to help him launch his car. :acme: I think Bob is right we need an impartial test here with real world cars. Bob could drive the boss and I the GT500 then we can switch and try it again to see which one is best. There is a strong muscle car presence over at the ACME house hold. Tell Tam congrats on the new toy.
