:lol:Since I’ve gotten to advanced puberty my motivation has abandoned me. The worst is the dreary winter COLD weather.

I’m the poster child for “seasonal affective disorder”!

Umpty leven things to do, a lot inside and I just park on my recliner with a book and cat in my lap. Retirement is wonderful!:beep:

Wish I could help you. I’m trying to get the motivation to pull the motor/transmission out of mine. Maybe next week. Lol.

Thinking about the fun you'll have driving it should provide the necessary motivation.
You just have to overcome the retiree's motto, of "Never do today what you can postpone until tomorrow".

I am with you Terry. Just cant seem to get the shell painted so I can move on. Tired of block sanding and if I spray this feather filler that mean's I have to block it one more time. Oh the pain of it all!!!!! Hang in their buddy and you will survive the trial's of building a runner. Russ.

the nice thing is you know how the car is build .people buy cars and don't know how much bondo or mistakes they made and covered them up only to pass it on to the next poor bastard as the problems start showing themselves .do it right the first time and when you are driving down the road knowing it was done right

The worst thing is when you get tired and want to get it finished you tend to cut corner's. I will say I found out that you cant build one of these cars with out some filler involved. I have used the best stuff I could find. Will say you have to use something to make the body straight. Have stayed away from the bond o named product. Using polyester and all metal.

for sure on the filler but when you are doing the restoration you know what is in the car and when you start seeing the light at the end of the tunnel of being done you do cut corners just so you can see it again all done . and that why they are never done.

as i used to tell myself, "it is only days away from being done" and repeat like a montra.
Sounds like a twist on the Cleveland Browns mantra: "We're only two years away from being two years away!"
