Metal strip door glas

Anyone a idea how the strip is attached to the door window when i roll it down it pops off is it hold by glue or something

That would be my thought. But don't quote me. One of the other guy's should know that answer like 69hemibeep. It must be new glass rite.

some cars have a glass tape that wraps around the bottom of the glass and then seats into the metal piece

So is their a chrome piece on the top of the glass or where you putting the glass into the crank regulator. I have pop out window's so not much help Oscar. But that 3M window calk will hold a lot once it dry's. Have to put a heat gun on it to get it to let go.

I used lock tite glue and mine doesn’t move I tried the window glass tape but the heat in the summer makes it come loose it comes in a tube
