Dobie's thread got me thinking about this. Was you car a project when you got it? Here's mine 8 years ago

I got it at the end of May 2004 and it was in primer painted over the original paint. The motor was apart and came in boxes and the crank was wrapped in a blanket. It was one of those projects where everything came together pretty nicely...took me 13 months to take it apart, get it painted and put it back together completely in time for the 2005 Carlisle A12 Reunion. By the way, it's the same garage. My wife and I finished the interior ourselves while the car was in the paint shop. I don't know how I found time to restore the major components of the RoadRunner while it was in the shop? I spent 4 months just on the motor. It's like a blur to me now!
