AK 47. A friend gave it to me powder coated. It reflects in the light. All those parts turned out great.... also like the handicap sign with the bazooka/rifle (can’t tell which in that pic).
Hi Russ. I also blasted k frame and painted it. I also welded the two halves together where it was spot welded. Also I seen information on a form or site somewhere (brain fade again) how to weld supports in spots to strengthen some spots. On the lower control arms I welded metal over the bottoms with 3 access holes. These can be bought. Also Russ I tried start a conversation with you but maybe I didn't do it correct.Did not notice that the main member got dust on it after painting. Had turned on a fan in the shop. It is not stuck to the paint though so it make it look dusty. Lot's of work. Even welded up some of the area's that looked weak and some trashy looking weld's.
Use acrylic hot rod black with a hardener. Suppose to resist brake fluid and other fluid's. Will see. I know if you let it get hard lacquer thinner dose not cut it.Looks great Russ.....what paint did u use......
