I have a new ignition switch to match my new door locks, but I do not need to change it out except for convenience. I have never changed one out on a column. Can anyone give me an outline of the procedure? I am guessing my first step is to remove the steering wheel???

I know on the newer ones you need a tool to push down on the plate that locks the wheel, and remove a clip on the steering shaft
