I bought this from the son of the original owner, who drove this car everywhere. He gave it to his son who hopped-up the engine & trans. (383-4 speed car) & did a damn good job. I was a mechanic for a long time so I can spot nice work right away. I bought the car from him in 2011 for 8 grand, which was a real good price in my opinion, for a very solid, one owner (basically) car. I got a lot of paperwork with it when I bought it including the original window sticker & some mid 11 second time slips the son gave me. I unfortunately had to sell it, but a good friend bought it & still has it to this day. He spent $30 grand on it to make it pretty nice. Not perfect, but a very nice driver that is faster than it looks. Here is a before (when I owned it) & after picture. Though some folks might enjoy them.

Pretty much but, it had the deluxe (Burnt Orange) interior. The seats were upholstered wrong when I bought it but whoever did it, did a pretty nice job & held up well over all these years.
Nice (stripper) low option car.

Yes, I think I got a hell of a good deal. The car was easily worth 10 grand. It was a very solid car too.

Nice runner. Mine is also one of those that is faster than it looks.
Yes, the guy I bought it from knew what he was doing. I was impressed with some of the little, time-consuming things he did that most people didn't spend their time doing. All the right combination of parts, not too radical, but pretty quick & you could drive it all day with no problems. He would drive it to the track (Englishtown or ATCO) run it hard & drive it home, close to 2 hours away!

I agree. I always do the little things that usually always makes am impression on someone that I did things that way. The bad thing is, mine doesn't even look like it would run at all.

I have to say, there's something I really like about a car that looks like it had seen better days but embarrasses a lot of folks at stoplight drags! I've seen pictures of your car here before & I like what I see.
