I got one at Tony’s, it needed repairs and he had the repair parts also. I am in the process of restoring it.

I know there is no known answer to this, but I wonder how many 69 Road Runners came factory with the N96 Option. Finding an OEM duct work isn't a needle in a haystack, but pretty dang close, I think.

From what I can find, they made 78,906 Road Runners in total in 1969.
1,412 were the A12 so they all had it.
787 were Hemi's so they all had it. (Of which 10 were verts, I'm drooling as I type)
So if you take those out of the equation that leave's 76,717 cars.
Based on my unscientific, unsubstantiated and definitely informal research based soley on casual observations then adjusted for my own amusement, I'm guessing that 5% of the remaining cars had the N96 option or 3830 cars.

I think the "383" portion is a nice number, so I'm going with that.

disclaimer: This is a total guess which is very likely and completely inaccurate. To be clear, do not quote this as factual information as the number is posted for amusement purposes only.

The 1412 A12s were different as in hood and air cleaner so they are out. I would guess 10% but most of them do now LOL

remember that a road runner and a GTX in 69 had the same air duct under the hood . the only difference is the air cleaner on them were different. if you have a stock intake for a 383 then you have to have the 2 3/4 one compare1.jpg

I have one on my 70 Roached Runner. I know not correct but I like them better. It has the same patina as the rest of the car and it helps hide the nitrous.

Happy old man right here. This is an original. I know the power steering belt is off but I'm replacing the steering gear.

AZ Desert,
Not sure. Your thoughts?
Depends on how many miles you drive it. I have enough Fram paper filters for my car and have one correct element I put on for a true judged show when I get there. I got 2 cases of filters 15 years ago for 80 bucks and sold off what I didn't need. If you drive allot get a K&N
