How big is your hole?

Might be a stupid question since the parts and fit seem right.
But I've gotta ask since I didn't really notice when I took it apart.
Do I just put sealant in there.
Guess I could "tweek" the lower gutter up a might to split the difference over and under it .

"Over" as in more outboard?
No.
See the thing is the AMD tail panel seem not a tall as the original from the trunk pan up.
So my new hole seems a little big there at the tail light housing.
I don't think I can do anything about it and it doesn't show anyway once the trunk is closed.
A hole filled with sealer.
Just seems a typical 1969 way the car was designed.
