Ok... I got the car stripped down and had it transported to the media blasters today. It will then be moved to the body shop for the first stage of body work and paint.

Great pics! She looks to be in really good shape. Hopefully the blasters won't find any unpleasant surprises. You had better get that rear 1/4 glass out of there, though, or you are going to have etched glass back there! :drive:

haha, yeah, the glass IS coming out before the blast! I was running shy on time when the tow truck arrived! Thanks...yeah overall the body is in GREAT shape.

That thread was probably 30+ pages of actual restoration updates and 50+ pages of all of us :acme: and :wedgie: and :leg: with one-another... I seem to recall being threatened with being rolled up in your "trunk mat" (which looked an awful lot like a blanket to me), and driven out into the desert in that thread...:basketcase:
