Russ, the ties work really good for welding plastic. Although I prefer black.

Yes use a wood burner tip to weld plastic. Showed a buddy of mine and mix a little heat glue stick in it. Quad runner plastic body's. They want to crack in some places.

I never tried the glue stick. I will keep that in mind for next time, thanks Russ.
