Hey John you got any info on the $75 jobYou can have them rebuilt for $75.
Look at the post above yours. (#21)Hey John you got any info on the $75 job
The problem with the new one is quality... Is the new Chinese switch at twice the price better than the rebuild at half the price?Yea Big John that the way somethings are and your rite about the age. I would probably just buy a new one and be done with it. Thanks for the head's up. A lot of my car is getting thrown in the scrap pile and putting on new. We all respect your knowledge of these car's and thanks again. Russ.
:rimshot:Just off the top of my head... Maybe a bulb and a power source. Measure voltage drop as you wheel the rheostat up and down. Convert voltage drop to ohms.
Then chant "ohm" and remember that resistance is futile.
I had mine done for the guy on ebay - works great now...I need to have the dimmer tested and i think I will have to maybe send it to the guy off the e-bay....
