Hello!
Joining this group because I just brought my 69 Roadrunner to Michigan. It’s been in storage in Manitoba (where my Dad lived) for the past 7+ years. Long story, but the family has had the vehicle since it rolled off the Bill Luke Chrysler lot (in Phoenix) in May ‘69. Since she has been stored for some time, I am working through the issues that come with bringing her back out onto the road.

Welcome to fellow Michgangander. Awesome to see your runner kept all the years from dealership to now. I love the color. I was raised in Croswell, a small town, 25 miles from Port Huron. Drove my 70 runner up from Florida and back there in June of this year by myself. It was so much fun being on the road again in my runner! Runner didn’t have any problems. Congratulations to getting your’s there with u

AZ Desert,
Welcome. Bill Luke had some old stock and I purchased parts for my bird when I restored her. Still a great dealership. I see you have the original road wheels with trim rings , nice!

Welcome to the group even though as a long time Ohio resident not so sure about the Michigan part. Do love the car though.

This one came back to Michigan with me on a trailer (towed her with my F-150). It only has (just over) 50,000 original miles, so I don’t plan to do any long highway trips with her.

Thanks! My father had a complete restoration done on this one in 2016-2017 at Carnduff Carriage Works in Saskatchewan (unfortunately, it looks like they've gone out of business recently. But their Facebook page is still up - https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100057399402169.). Right after he completed the restoration, he got sick and spent the next few years in the hospital and long-term care before he passed in 2020. So, the car has been in storage for much of the past seven years. The body is almost pristine, but long-term storage causes issues with moving parts. So, my first quick project is heading my way from Rock Auto - a new starter, filters (air, fuel), etc.
