Looking for info on Header fitment for a 4 speed car. I looked at Schumacher's site and they have a disclaimer saying there is interference on a A-833 car. Also checked out TTI, but their site doesn't have (or I missed it) anything specific about it.
I figured it would be best to open this up to people who have installed them instead of asking a salesperson.
I'm not set on either of these companies and if there is another company/part number that works with out modifying anything, let me know. Thanks in advance for the input.

Dont really care, I know schumachers are tri y. I'm more interested in getting them on the car without a lot of greif.

These are Schumachers. I just looked at their site and found what you are talking about on the Z bar so never mind. I do hear good things about TTI but no first hand knowledge

I have heard good things about tti, also some other manufacturers as well. frequently need to massage the drivers side near the starter for some clearance. definitely get the heat coating. can get very hot under hood without it.

I installed tti 2 1/2" headers on a hemi with Indy heads into a 4 spd roadrunner and they fit great. Only issue was finding the right starter.

Hello you might try summit racing. As I was looking into my classic industries Hedman Hedders on page 468 read bottom notes say with these hedders must use mini starter. In the 70's use to get mine from big daddy Dongarlent in Tampa Fla. always were a tight fit and had to do some modification on various part's. The shorty header may be the best bet. Saw Armyinspector has put a set on his car might send him a message to what he used. Good luck and let's see some pic's when you have them on and tell us what you had to do.

I fitted Doug's 2" headers on my 4 speed '70 Road Runner and they fit perfectly. Engine is a 440 stroked to 505 with Stealth heads. No clearance problems at all.
