I think we've chased off most of the "purists" by now so you're pretty safe... :basketcase:

Most everyone on here is of the firm belief that it's your car, do what you want with it - To your point #2. Those that aren't of this mindset are usually beaten into submission over time...

only other appearance issues for me is to:
replace the reflectors (they're dull).
paint the hood insert grills red (personal preference)
black hood stripes (personal preference
