I haven't been able to do much to my 69 RR vert recently.
The body and paint financially tapped me out for a while.

I was able to make a few big purchases over the summer on things like:
-Strange S60 Dana (complete)
-A bunch of new parts like new handles, knobs, cranks, and chrome from P&G Classics and BE&A
-Restoration of steering column, dash and instrument control harness, switch bar, rocker switches, heater control bezel, heater box, fresh air box.
-I also had the entire front end rebuilt over the summer
-New leaf springs (painted) and bumper brackets (powder coated)

I'm ready to throw some more coin at the project.
Now it's time to build the engine. The 440 is going to a builder for a make over in the next week or so.

The car is going in for full assembly in February. The guy that is going to assemble the car thinks he can have it back to me by April!
That means I'll be doing burnouts just in time for a Michigan spring!

There is light at the end of the tunnel. My wife is excited that we may be able to start actually saving money. :barbershop_quartet_

I'll keep you guys posted...

Alex

I've been pretty "life busy" lately. I recently took a new job, still as a principal, with another local school district.
The transition from one school to another is difficult. Learning all the new staff, students, families, procedures, policies, etc. can be a lot!
I have been checking-in on you boys every couple days on here, but not posting much.

I should have a lot of pictures and progress over the next couple months, which I'm excited about.

Making some nice progress on the vert! I pick up my last parts from paint tomorrow.
The rear end and springs are in. That Strange Dana looks sweet! The springs to painted to replicate a "natural" look.
Front end is done and waiting for the 440 to be installed together with the 727.
I may purchase my wheels and tires this week to get it on rubber in the next couple weeks. I'm going with 15x7 Road Wheels from Specialty, or 15x7 Magnums.
It goes to final assembly the 3rd week of February. It should be on the road for mid to end April.

Picked up a few parts between the Walter P. Chrysler swap meet and my painter today.
My steering wheel is done, and I picked that up at the swap meet. I also dropped my wiper motor off for restoration with a local guy.
I was able to get a good deal on brake line for my S60 rear end too.
Drove out and picked up a few parts from the painter.
It feels good to get some things wrapped up.

My engine builder is making some good progress. The engine will be placed on a dyno this week for break in.
He sent me some pics this weekend...
