Hi I'm gene been building big block mopars for 40 years,retired ny police sgt now just build engine in my basement,currently doing a 470 out of a 400 and cutting 12-14 pounds out of the rotating assembly lost 500 grms per cyl just in pistons not counting the crank with will be almost the same amount to balance cut down main and overall diameter that's 4000 grams plus 2.20 rods instead of bigger mopar rod journals lite weight timming set,damper,rods all excited.....looking for an idea for a hyd flat tappet camthat will make at least 600hp hoping the XE294 will do it what u guys think 251-256 dur@050 and 520 lift with fully ported,polished 906's and 10.5-1 comp letme hear from u guys.............

Hello Gene chiodo Welcome aboard. Sorry can't help with the cam question back in the day we use to use blue streak cam's that where a little hotter think I would call SummitRacing.com. We use to go to Big daddy don Garlent in Tampa Fl. when we where building motor's to race. Maybe some of the other guy's have something they know
