Fuel Tank parts

I am working on a 68 RR Restoration, and the car I have didn't come with a fuel tank. As I was about to buy a new one off eBay, noticed that I might need alot more than just a tank. I know I will need a sending unit for sure, and I just don't know if I need the following (or how many of each):
Tank straps
j bolts
braces?
For those of you familiar with these cars I could use some help. Thanks in advance!

Oh, and a neck/filler tube?
And where would I get the best pricing?

You will need two straps, two J-bolts and nuts, fill tube and grommet, and one insulations pad that is lace between the tank and the trunk floor. I have attached some photo's of my tank I just install two weeks ago.

I bought all my stuff (tank, sending unit, pad, straps, j-bolts, etc.) between "A Deals Auto Parts" and "Mega Parts" online stores. Both are great companies. Call them and place you order though, don't do it online. You may get a discount that way....

Ebay is a great place to get parts, Make sure you get a galvanized tank versus the painted ones that are common on ebay.

This one is great and from a reputable company. Cheap to boot.

The "CR9C" is the tank made by Spectra Premium in Canada. This is the one that you want. Sold by LOTS of different companies. While inline tube refers to this as "galvanized", i.e. zinc-coated, according to the manufacturer's (Spectra Premium) website it is actually "OEM approved Ni-Terne Steel" which lead-tin-nickel coated. The key thing to look for is "Made in Canada" as there are chinese/taiwainese rip-offs out there being sold under the same "CR9C" p/n.

Yeah my new tank had a big sticker from and made in Canada on it.

Thanks, guys. I kind of figured most were made in Canada, since the ebay sellers I saw were up north. Nothing seems to be made here anymore (don't get me started). Suprised they are not made in mehico :cheers: :leave:

spectra priemium is the manufacture out of canada and there tanks are top notch
