front seat belt 69 roadrunner question

good afternoon, i have a 69 runner and for vic rego i need to fit lap/sash belts, (3 point) before i remove side of headlining, i am asking when did b-bodys have the holes with bolts fitted into the roof turret for the front seat belt, thank you

Your '69 would have left the factory with shoulder harnesses. The bolt holes are there.

Are you going to pull the head liner to find the holes? If so with a little help of a picture you can feel them and punch a hole.

Roadrunner belts are separate. Has a lap belt and separate shoulder belt. That is why there are so many buckle ends on the seat. The attachment for the shoulder belt is above the quarter window. I will guarantee that Bob has a great picture of this spot and that compared to one from Dave will actually be in focus. :lol:

ok i have the belt holes with threads in the roof, :thumbsup: i have a 68 charger and it does not

I just added 3-point seat belts for the front seats in my 68. I used an existing hole above the post, first welded a nut to a 2x3 or so 16 gauge plate then welded and screwed the plate with the bolt on he inside of the hole to the 18 gauge frame. If you don't have the hole there already you'll have to drill one.
