This is great news. I was going to sell my bow tie car as the track was closing and a few times a year breaking things was the only fun I had with it.

Good news. Someone was fibbing saying the expansion of the highway system was going to close it. I thought it would take one hell of a big expansion to come even close to the track. Didn't know you were a racer Jack.

11.65-11.70. around 120MPH. Its a 6.0 LS. Built it long before everyone was doing LS into everything. Last time out the windshield trim blew off at the finish line.

It’s a mild build LS 3 top end. Too bad that picture is so bad. No more Chevy stuff here from me. I need to finish the roadrunner.

We all have other vehicles in our stables. My trucks are Ford's. LOL. Have a HD tri glide also. But still love my runner. Been looking for another project car. Not a runner to add to my collection.
