Greetings all...new member here from Sydney, Australia. Long time Mopar fan, now a first time Mopar owner with a 69 Roadrunner 383 hardtop - ex Texas car.

Looking forward to joining in the discussion, meeting some likeminded people on the forum and learning what I can.

Welcome from Nebraska. Is the Roadrunner roadworthy or a project car? How are you handling having to sit on the passenger side to drive?

Welcome Floyd :)

I vacationed in Sydney a few years ago. The direct plane flight was right about 15 hours or so... but well worth it. Nice Country you got over there and now you've got one of the greatest cars there too!!:)

Kinda weird calling a RR an import huh?

Post some pics please.

Well thank you all for the warm welcome!

1967 'cuda - The Roadrunner is most definitely roadworthy - got her registered over here last month and been going for the odd cruise. I think I'm used to sitting on the passenger side now - although you get some puzzled looks at the window when you pull up at McDonald's drive through!

inri - thanks, it's great because you don't see many RR's at all out here so everywhere you go someone stops to chat.

I will post up some pics as soon as I get the photobucket thing sorted. Some of you may have even seen the car before as I bought it from a previous member of the forum although I'm not sure he's posted in a couple of years.

Thanks again to everyone else for the kind words and I look forward to chatting further.

Regards,

Adam

if you don't mind telling, who was the previous owner?

Hey Dave,

The previous owner was a guy by the name of Scott from out here in Canberra. A nice bloke and a big mopar fan. He imported the car personally but never got around to getting it registered and on the road.

I've included a couple of pics that he had posted previously - for those of you who may recognise the car (I hope he doesn't mind). I will post some current pics of the car when the weather improves and had a chance to get it all polished up.
