owned several Chrysler products. a 37dodge business coupe. 2 r runners. if asked will list them. as of now I have a 55 dodge coronet and a 88 Chrysler 5th ave. I think it bites that there isn't more parts for 56 back cars and trucks. I know this site is for runners and I wish I had my 69 convrt and it was a hell of a car, but things happen. was getting ready to start on an other 69 coupe, but again things happen.

to all; I have always thought that the 69 road runner convertible was a true beauty. mine was a 383 727 323, white drop top, white interior, 14in road wheels, B5(I think, not sure on paint code). I got it nov, 29, 1968. I loved the car. out ran Illinois state cops one nite. my best friend got a 68 runner in feb 68. really liked his coupe, then I saw a pic of the new 69 convertable in a hot rod magazene and told my wife I was going to get one. I have to be honest ( to me the most beautiful car was the 1940 ford deluxe coupe with a 24 stud flathead 85 hp motor). I cut my teeth on flatheads, but that's anotherstory. good nite to all, and bless you all happy thanksgiving

Welcome aboard! Flatmotors? What a resurgence! Between Motor City Flatheads, H & H Flatheads, and all the surplus French Army motors floating around, the antiques are more popular than ever. Repops available of almost all the olde tyme speed stuff is available, just bring a water cooled checkbook or freon cooled credit card. Olde Tyme Speed costs money, how fast do you want to spend?

hi all; yeah them stinkin flat motors. coyote, have you ever worked on them? ive worked on 1 cyc to 12 cyc flat motors of all breads, but loved the ford flat 8. now I will be the first to say that a big block mopar is pretty darn sweet. the looks of and sound of a flat ford to me is a thing of beauty. I had a 69rr vert I got in nov 68, beautiful car. traded a pain in the butt 67 ford and $2100.00. it was my 3rd favorite car I ever owned. I had other mopars some with big blocks some small blocks and even a couple of sixes both slant and flat head. I know this forum is for road runners, heck I brought my daughter home from the hosp when she was born(4-12-69) in the runner. i think this is a great site and I am glad you guys and gals are keeping them on the road. keep up the good work and above all have fun, that's what they were built for. mike h
