Finally Valiant time

ready for red paint.....sweet
I think we are looking at a two tone, some kind of red on top and an accent color below the bottom body line.

I crawled around under the rear of the car contemplating my next phase, inboard the springs and mini tubbing. The springs give me about 3" more tire space in the existing wheel wells but the tubs only gain 1-1/2". Is it worth the work?

There is only 1- 1/2 inches to the frame, can't get three

ok......so what size tires can you squeeze in there after you mini tube it?
The wheel well is 11 3/4 " as is just moving the springs so 13 1/4 tubbed. I'll know more tomorrow as I dig into the project

So I pulled the diff and notch the frame rails for the spring relocation and with my spare time I set the car down on a set of BFG P275/60R 15 drag radials that came on my wheels. It will need a mini tub for a tire this size to work as the sidewalls rub if I drop the car much farther. I rolled one of the front wheels up for a look, the tire is to tall for the front but it sure hides the 13" thats behind it

You should jack up the front and take a pic so we can get some idea of what it will look like once the straight axle goes in... :D
