I was ready to put the bottom end of the 440 together, I had the crank turned and purchased the bearings from the machine shop that was supposed to be a 10-10 crank. Well some say I'm nuts I still use plastigauge to double check the work done (don't have an outside micrometer) when I come to find the mains are loose. So I scrounge around and found a friend that loaned one to me a mic and come to find the mains are 20 under, so its back to the shop for a bearing exchange. I have the goodies for the spring relocation so I'll be dragging the car across the yard for that project shortly.
