The 70 Roadrunner I have says on the actual fender tag for color:Eb7. I have heard some call this Jamaica Blue but all that I have seen has told me it’s a lot closer to a B5 and or Dark blue metallic.
Here’s a picture of what may have been an original color and what it is now on the trunk lid today. I love the current color, just trying to see where it falls in the color scheme.
Supposedly restored some 16yrs ago so I’m thinking some weather and sun somewhere has tweaked the color a bit.
Anybody have some ideas?
Thanks!

Looks like the car was repainted. That back where the rear bumper must have been taped off and not shot with the new color. That is probably the original color of the car. But do like the color it is. Woodwiz. Nice looking Runner buddy. :thumbsup2:

Thanks! The Classic dealer I got it from called it Jamaica blue but to me it’s a dark blue metallic. Not perfect but then it is not a trailer queen either.

That helps! #21 is Eb7 Jamaica blue as the fender tag states.
#22 Eb5 is close on that backend behind the bumper but someone dyed some of the interior B5 blue to black.
Which is no big deal,it’s not a numbers matching car…I can live with it!

Saw on Tv the auction by Berit Jackson non number matching cars going for pretty good money. Resto Mod cars Plymouth and Dodge. Mine was not numbers matching either. Not the right transmission so put the four speed back in the car. Lucky enough The clutch pedal and every thing was still in the car. Did have to get the Z bar and linkage as well the bell housing for the clutch. No big deal it all went back together well. As stated just to have these cars and being the new care taker of them is an enjoyment.

I think it was Haggerty insurance recently said that the old mopars have increased in value 30-40%. For me it’s just dollars that don’t mean a thing unless you are a seller or collector. We are caretakers of these time machines and my hope is that enough of this passion is getting passed on to young ones…maybe someone should make a muscle car that looks like a cell phone…sorry I had to say it!

That looks spot on to mine…I get a lot of compliments on mine. Not your everyday blue!
