Electrical short figured out...need help

So when I bought my bird, the battery kept dying. Found the dome light bulb was put in wrong, and the ignition key light is staying on. Is there a relay for the light? Otherwise I'll just disconnect it, but would rather have it work.

don't think any relays in this part of harness. solution is either start chasing wires or as you already know, pull the bulb until willing to undertake bigger wiring harness change. as on another thread the fsm has a wiring diagram and the laminated color one is helpful.

Sounds like you have the light package. There is a gizmo can't remember the name, taped up near the ignition switch that keeps the switch lit for about 20 seconds or so.

The ignition key light comes on with the dome, then stays on when the dome light is off for about 20 seconds or so (like Bob said).

The timer is a silver cylinder about an inch in diameter and two inches long.

Sounds like you have the light package. There is a gizmo can't remember the name, taped up near the ignition switch that keeps the switch lit for about 20 seconds or so.

Hey big guy the diagram I looked up for the time delay relay said yellow with tracer goes to light pink wire goes to map light and the other yellow goes to part of the instrument panel harnass is that what you have
