Hello 69convert, there are a couple of things you need to consider when changing to front disc. Do you want front or rear mounted calipers? Also, do you prefer the "slider type" or "pin type" calipers. I just spent many hours researching this and testing which I could use with 14" wheels. I chose the "pin type" calipers because they are plentiful and smaller than the "slider type". What I also found was, front mounted calipers, hit the stabilizer bar when turned either direction. I used a steering knuckle with a rear mounted caliper from a 74' Gran Fury police car. Yes, they will fit and have the correct spindle height . The disadvantage of using the large wheel bearing spindle is, the outer bearing hub is larger. Your steel wheels will not fit over the hub. Magnum 500's do not have this problem. I hope this information helps you. As I said, I spent many hours installing different spindles, measuring caliper clearances ect. Good Luck..
