When it comes to muscle cars I've always been a Mopar fanatic. I have a '74 Roadrunner that I'm prepping to fix up. I have stroked 440, an 8 3/4 rear end which I still have to find a sure grip 3rd member. My interior will have the bucket seat set up, I found a rally dash a very good price. I think my main obstacle will be the wiring, the wiring is all jacked up. I'm a long way off, but I'm determined to get it fixed up and on the road.

Welcome from arizona.
Good wiring is not expensive.
It's priceless.
There is nothing...repeat nothing more pitiful than a great looking car that will not start.
Buy a new harness either aftermarket or OE but make sure everything is correctly wired.
You will be glad you made the effort in the end.

And of course they will make sure to act up anytime that you take them to a show or a cruise-in and they have an audience...:toetap:

Any of the main manufacturers make a much better wiring kit. Painless, haywire, Ron francis, all use more circuits and most bypass that worn out bulkhead connector. Original circuit runs on 6 fuses which is just not adequate in today's time. Think about upgrading headlights as well. Dan stern lighting a good place to start for info. Cost is about 3-400 $ and a lot of piece of mind.

Thanks all for the welcome. I am planning on getting a new wiring harness, it would be easier to do that then figure out all the loose wires and taped up connections from a junkyard harness which is in there right now. Plus I am modernizing the interior with power windows, & door locks, the bucket seats will also be powered. Also one of those fancy powered rear view mirrors. Under the hood, electric radiator fans, electric fuel pump, possibly converting the distributor to electronic. Those are a few of the things I'm going to need a new wiring harness for. Again thanks you all your welcomes, I'm sure I'm going to get some good advice for my questions.
