There are 4 or 5 bolts that hold the pad in and they are a real pain to get to. Need to come back up and toward you to reach them I think they are 3/8 speed nuts.

I found that a nut driver can get in their. But it is a real pain if it has been a while since it has been off. Use a lot of nut blaster and let it soak for a day or so. I have my dash out of the car and it still is not easy. Any tool you find that work's is best for you.

They are at the top of the dash from the back in the grove yep in the grove that is what make's them so hard to get to and can't get much in their. If you need pic's I can get you some the dash is off. So reach up in where the gages where all the way to top and then back to you and feel in the grove. Russ.

It is a bad place to get to. If the glove box is in that one might be hard to get to also. Even with my dash off it is difficult to get to the nut's. Hope the pic's helped you out you will get it. Russ. :BangHead:

Yep look's good. This must have been before you got the instrument panel done. That is the type steering wheel I had it was all broke up so got one with the half horn ring and the roadrunner in the steering cap. Like the shift ball. Russ. :beep:

I agree. It is what I was use to seeing in a runner. Had to get something mine was all chipped up and could see the steel core. So really had no choice had to get a better one. That is why I looked for this one. Think I was lucky to find it. You just have to look here for item's for sale or other site's as Ebay. Good luck with the car my brother. Russ.
