Custom Dash Inserts??

Hey guys, hope all of you are well.

I've had horrible luck with the OEM Gauges being even close to working, so I'm considering doing a custom insert made maybe from Diamond Plate and putting in all new, modern gauges. Mine is a resto-mod so not worried about OEM. Any of you guys have any pictures of something similar I can use for an example??

The space in the 69 RR instrument panel area is pretty narrow, but wanted to see if any of you guys had any thoughts?

One of the mopar mags did a story on a digital dash replacement. Made by mr heater or something like that. Fit right in place.

Can you give me an idea of how you did it and what gauges you used? Time and money estimate?
