Connecting Rod and piston's

So can not get the connecting rod with the pressed pin only floating pin. So looking at pressed pin in piston not floating. Is this the combination I should go with. Want new connecting rods and piston's in the rebuild of the 383. Any thought's would be appreciated. Russ.

The factory pressed wrist pins in the rod . Most aftermarket rods have floating pins and circle clips in the pistons ,nothing wrong with this setup. You cant press pins into the piston because as the piston warms up it expands on the pin. Pistons are not round the are cam ground ,that is why when you measure a piston it is always 90 degrees from the pin.
