If it's not too personal...

Who do you use? How much is it? And what coverage do you have?

I'm going to check out Hagerty and Grundy (via local agent).
I'd like to insure my car for between $50-$60k agreed upon value.
Need coverage if my garage or car sets fire, and have towing up to 100 miles included.
What should I expect to pay? I'm young (34 years old) with a great driving record.

American collectors insurance runs about $100 for every $10,000 in agreed value per year. I think Georgie has them also

I have Hagerty. No issues, but no claims either.

I have some friends that wadded up a Superbird last year and Hagerty has been pretty good with their big$$$ claim.

I know that with Hagerty if you want over $25,000 the car has to be appraised at least it did when I placed over 25g's on the Mr.Norms demon and you pay for the appraiser to come out.

I'm way over 25k and American wanted a few photos. They may have been looking at the value of a Demon and not the fact that its a Mr. Norms car

I use American Collectors as well. They had the best rates for comparable coverage as of January 2014. :yesnod:

I use JC Taylor. Never had a claim, so don't know how that works, but their rates are very competitive, with agreed value. Mileage regulations, and must be kept in locked garage, not left unattended unless at car event, etc.

I have Hagerty if I am not mistaken. Just under $300 per year. Agreed value is right around 30k. I'll have to check the other details.

My A12 was with Hagerty and they had no issue going over $25k with no appraisal.

I ended up going with Grundy over Haggerty.
$60k full coverage, $0 deductible, $250 reimburse per tow (if necessary)=$450/year
It was about $700/year for the same coverage with Haggerty.
I'll go with Grundy for now. I was expecting to pay more due to my age (34), but it looks like all is well...
