I bought my runner back in 1980/81 and the guy wanted $900 buck's for it. He was going through a nasty divorce and I offered him $600 cash on the spot and he snatched it. I just had it appraised last year for 30 thousand. Not a bad investment I'd say. :banana: :beep:

I sold my first 69 rr convertible back in 1971 for $500 and also got a 67 442 4 speed in trade. Man........I wish I had both of them back now!

I paid $3015 for my first Road Runner! But that was new and it was April of 1969.

As for the carb: As long as you are eating and the carb isn't hold out for the $1500.
