Agreed! I’ve said that if I broke down and someone in one of those stopped and offered me a ride, I’d take my chances walking back and playing red rover on the interstate as that would be safer.

I’ve seen one if these locally and have told people if he flips on his lights and siren, he better call ahead as I’m mashing the skinny pedal.
 
I do agree with you that you cannot outrun the radio and spike strips can get ya....

A little while back, I got pulled over by local PD as they were looking for a red Charger that was breaking into houses. Long story short, it wasn’t me and I told the officer it was a V6 first gen new Charger they were looking for. He said that it sounds like I know who it is... no, I just pay more attention than most and from the front vanity plate he described, I’d seen it. How about you run those parameters (red, V6, and the years of those Chargers) through your computer? He then told me that he was glad I pulled over as he’s seen me around, knew I could handle my car and could out drive him, my Charger had his out muscled, and if I decided to go, I was gone.... I get thumbs up and waved at now and one officer loves when I’m in the RR and :beep: as I pass by.
