no holley's and a cast iron intake that would accept a holley if you wanted to swap with some adapting. 1970 had some holley applications. Correction on carbs in 2 posts belowThe motor 383 when buying the car already had a holley intake with a 650 four barrel holley on it. All ways like the holley's.
OK, I'm going to form this more of a question, than a statement. I purchased a 4616 AVS Carter when redoing my car and had it professionally restored with the intention of using it on my car. Later doing more research and advised by others (the Mopar guy who was rebuilding my engine), this Carburetor, although I was told this would be fine for my Roadrunner, it was not the "correct" Carburetor. The 4616AVS Carter is a 4bbl and was used on the 383, but it was the Carburetor for the Non HP 383 with an automatic transmission in 1969. I am not claiming this as fact, it's just what I was advised. At the moment this is sitting on my basement work bench right next to the 4682AVS that I was advised was the proper carburetor. Is this not true? Since they were so difficult to find and the condition of most was so poor, I purchased two in case it turned out one was not rebuildable. Turns out both were able to be salvaged so I have a second 4682. I'm keeping the 4682, but would sell the 4616 if someone wants it. Sitting the two side by side its near impossible to tell them apart.in 68-69 they used a carter 4615, 4616 or 4638 the later two for automatics no holley's and a cast iron intake that would accept a holley if you wanted to swap with some adapting. 1970 had some holley applications.

Their is some talk that with ethanol Larger jet's are required. So running a higher Octane or a race gas non ethanol. These car's where running on Unleaded back when it was first introduced. Just some food for thought.
