Black for an Inland shifter. Brown if you have a Hurst shifter. I'm citing Brewer's on the latter...never seen one in the flesh...

Mine was a white ball didn't know if all 68s had that or not seen many 69 with the brown wood grain plastic nob

After hearing that I am going with white ball from classic showing the shift pattern on the ball. For my 69 runner with console shifter manual.

Black on the Inland. I have seen White on some Hurst but bo proof of what it should be. Wood grain for 69
