Air cleaner wingnut thread

Does anyone know what size thread the wingnuts are that hold this air cleaner lid on?

It's more difficult to get UNF/UNC nuts and bolts in England so I'm going to have to order them online.

I was going to guess 1/4-20 but wasn`t sure. Yes - 1/4-20 is UNC the C being for course thread and 1/4-28 is UNF the F being fine thread.
