Ray, I didn't forget that you said you were going to post the WOT / Ka-Boom muffler fiasco. What's all the white crap? Thanks for posting the pics, sounds like you have the fix covered. BTW, did you clean the stains on your drivers seat yet? :jester:

Now the 'bu...those dents suck, but I must admit, I am facinated at how clean they look......lol

Harry that white crap would appear to be some kind of Texas (the car seems to have spent its entire life in Texas prior to my acquisition of it) mud that is caked on and baked on. Looks like it has been there a LONG time... I've never tried to get it off - it'll come off at some point down the road when I strip the car...

Stains were limited to my clothing, thankfully. :D

The plastic housing of the TV seems to have reduced the amount of scratching in the paint. Hard to figure out exactly how it hit though. One corner of the TV is caved in, which seems to indicate that would be point of impact on the floor. The screen has yellow paint all over it indicating that it impacted the arm of the hydraulic lift at some point. The only thing I know for sure is that the 'bu slowed its descent on the way to the floor... :brickwall:

P/N 2258862 - Fuel tank sending unit ground strap. $12.80 each at your Dodge dealer...

P/N 3404182 - Fuel tank filler tube grommet - supersedes P/N 2880481. $9.10 each at your Dodge dealer...

Update:

Picked up my parts at lunch time. The parts guy that I talked to yesterday was interested in what I was working on so I took pictures of everything in the ACME Toybox with me today. Well, I made a new friend apparently. When I went to the cashier's cage to pay for everything it was less than I expected. Upon inspecting the receipt I discovered that he had given me wholesale pricing and I now have an account set up as "Ray Simpson Racing". :D He gave me the ground straps for $10.24 each and the grommets for $7.28 each.

Will do. It would be nice to have the fuel gauge working...

The Dodge Garage probably thought you were one of those snobby hemi guys...whereas we A12 guys are known to be a much more down to earth bunch...try wearing a T-Shirt with some mustard stains on it the next time you venture in there... :lmao:

AMEN to that, brother...

John, you should have gone to the MOB show today...it was great... I recognized several cars from Garlits and your club's show as you might expect. I also spotted a really nice little '56 Nash Metropolitan... :D

Cool. Monday or Tuesday would probably work best for me...what's going on those nights?
