6bbl difference in center carb?

Can anybody tell what the difference is between the 69-70 4144 center carb and the 71 4670? Jegs lists both but they are over $800 bucks, Summit has one for $553 but they dont have the 69-70, they only list the 71.

My car is a 69 but not an A-12 car so being perfestly original doesn't matter to me.

The main difference is the bowl vent. 71 had a nipple on the top to vent to the charcoal canister.

Thanks John. Seems like a lot more money if that's the only difference.

I went with the 4670 for my 69. I wondered about that vent, meh mines not an A12 car anyway.
