69 Runner needing resto

Yes, we have to take our lump's, but it is not all bad. Once finished and you're driving it we tend to forget about what we had to do to get there. Maybe. Keep pics of what you do and remember the time you spent on restoring the car back to life. It is all a part of the game. Unless you are pretty well off and can afford one total restored. Post pics of the progress. We love Pics.

I'm sure I will be taking many more lumps before this Runner is back to all it's badass glory. I hope I will be able to get it done. Just going to stay focused and take it one step at a time.

The one on ebay for 150 had some pock marks on one end, other than that it was not bad.

Yeah I was concerned about those pock marks. Don't want to have to replace it again.

I've changed these before without pulling the engine. Let me know if need any advise.

Hope I don't have to pull the motor to do it. Waiting to take a look at it to see what's involved.

I don't think it's so much a rust issue, but a crack. Possibly rust related. I'll know more when I get the car.

I agree. Hopefully the rest of frame is OK. I plan on blasting and painting it.

My Runner arrived today. Runs ok. Needs a new carb and exhaust for starters. While the car was still on the carrier I got a decent look at the underside of the floor pan. I was amazed that I didn't see any rust. I will inspect more closely and remove carpeting. K frame showed up today too.
